Hi there!
I’m Lucy,
So lovely to meet you.
I’m Lucy, a mama of two little boys and a 3 Step Rewind practitioner. I’ve experienced baby loss and two traumatic births, which I’m really open about (you can read more about that here, if you’re interested).
I would love to become a birth trauma specialist midwife as it’s something that is incredibly close to my heart. I would also be really keen to finish my counselling training, this is something I started before university and loved.
In my free time I love to bake with my little humans (banana bread is a favourite in our house 🍌), paint and practice yoga. I love to explore and travel, one of my favourite places is the Glass House Mountains in Australia. New Zealand is next on my list!

fun facts about Lucy
I’ve been shark diving
I lived in Australia in 2017 and decided to try something new, so opted for shark diving! There is something so peaceful about being at the bottom of the ocean.
I love to travel
My dream destination is Hong Kong. I haven’t done much traveling since becoming a mum but trying to convince my partner to go for my 30th next year!
I have always wanted to be a midwife
Call me cringe if you want, but I do genuinely believe I was put on this earth to become a midwife. I feel so passionate about helping women and families.

Sometimes we all need a little bit of help,
and that’s okay…
Whenever I think back to when I became a mum for the first time, after a really difficult birth, I want to go back in time and give myself a hug.
I wish that I’d had someone who understood what I’d been through and who could have offered me the kindness and support I needed.
My aim with Rainbow Birthing has always been to give other women and families the care I wish my younger self could have had.
Emotional support: Giving birth is a big deal, and it can bring up lots of different feelings. Sometimes things don’t go according to plan and we need someone who understands this, to sit with us and listen. And sometimes we just want someone to share in our joy. Having someone to lean on is so important, and as a mum of two who has been where you are, I can offer you the emotional support you need.
Practical support: Resting after having a baby is so important and necessary in helping our bodies heal. I can help with tasks such as bottle/breast pump washing, and other light household tasks to ensure you get the time to rest and recover. And who doesn’t love to nap? Well sometimes babies don’t… I can provide your little one with lots of attention and care while you take some time to rest or shower.
